Hollanders has increased its range of wide-format textile printers with the introduction of theColorBooster DS-320. A 3.2m double-sided system, the DS-320 prints simultaneously onto both sides of the textile, allowing for duplex applications in a single pass.

The DS-320 has been designed with unattended operation and constant industrial production in mind, and features two print engines with an integrated fixation unit and on-board climate control, meaning that external temperatures will not affect output.

"Double-sided applications have been time consuming and labour intensive until now," notes Roland Biemans, marketing and communications manager at Hollanders. "The arrival of this new machine means that anyone needing to print direct to both sides of the media can now achieve this as an automated process. This opens new doors to flag and banner specialists, and simplifies the generation of front- and back-lit posters and displays."

Boasting high UV resistance, the machine can print up to 72sq m (775sq ft) per hour in duplex mode. The DS-320 joins the 3.2m ColorBooster XL and 2.5m ColorBooster 250, the latter of which will be débuted at SGIA Expo.
