Roland Rentals launched to give SMEs a leg up into wide-format

The machines on offer come with RolandCare silver warranty for the duration of the rental period

Roland DG has created a wide-format rental programme for SMEs and start-ups. The scheme is aimed at giving smaller businesses and entrepreneurs the ability to move into the wide-format industry without the requirement for up-front investment.

Among the Roland products on offer under the scheme are the VersaCamm SP-i and VS-i print-and-cut series, the VersaArt RE-640 and the VersaUV LEF-20. The rental package includes delivery and installation, a full set of Roland inks, VersaWorks RIP software and the opportunity to take a digital printing course at the Roland Academy.

"At Roland, we are consistently trying to find new ways to work with customers to ensure they can take advantage of all our wide-format technology has to offer," states James Johnson, business manager at RolandCare and Roland Rentals. "This programme could open up a whole world of new possibilities for many smaller, ambitious businesses and we are looking forward to introducing the many benefits of Roland's technology to them."

Roland believes that the rental scheme is a good alternative for those not in the financial position to purchase a machine outright. Customers can sign a one-, two- or three-year rental package and must pay three months up front.
