UK and Ireland print houses that trade in old solvent machines and purchase certain Mimaki CJV30 or JV33 models will be offered a three-year, fully comprehensive warranty and ￡1,800 worth of Mimaki inks, through a deal offered by distributor Hybrid Services. The 1.3m and 1.6m models from both ranges are included in the trade-in deal.

"A three-year warranty gives complete peace of mind for our customers and is significantly longer than any other offer in the wide-format industry," claims John de la Roche, national sales manager for Hybrid Services. "To know that their investment is protected means a lot to our customers: a new Mimaki with three years of fully comprehensive, gold warranty cover ensures premium support and response, should it ever be required."

The traded-in solvent printer will be recycled by Hybrid, while the additional inks – which add up to nine litres in total – will be shipped directly to the customer. The deal runs until the end of December 2013 and will be available through Hybrid's network of authorised resellers.
