PrintMax has made the first world-wide sale of Roland's new VersaCamm VS-i printer. The model was sold to Creative Signs and Graphics, which was looking to upgrade from its SP-540i, within one day of the new engine going on sale.
"The Roland VersaCamm is a fantastic piece of kit and our customers never fault it," suggests Chris Martin, PrintMax sales manager. "With the new improvements, I'm positive the VS-i will prove to be a popular choice for those looking at print-and-cut options."
The Roland VersaCamm VS-i uses Eco-Sol Max2 inks with a light black option and increased density on its white and metallic inks. The device also boasts front-loading capabilities for easier media input and a smaller footprint.
"Our SP-540i has proven to have been a bit of a workhorse for us – reliable and productive – so when we looked to the future we could only see ourselves looking at Roland options." Steve Green, director as Creative Signs and Graphics. "PrintMax has been fantastic in understanding our business needs and technological requirements. The VS-i is absolutely the right printer for us."
