Mimaki has revealed that it will expand its portfolio of flat-bed printers with the launch of the JFX200-2513, a UV-curable 2.5 x 1.3m ink-jet engine capable of printing up to 25sq m per hour. Aimed at the sign and display sector, the machine will be débuted at Viscom Düsseldorf 2013.
"We are extremely pleased to add the JFX200-2513 to our broad portfolio of UV ink-jet wide-format printers," says Mike Horsten, general marketing manager at Mimaki Europe. "It is designed, based on customer input, as an entry-level printer with extreme ease of use but also incorporates many of the advanced features that Mimaki is known for in the sign and display graphics industry."
The JFX200-2513 is compatible with multiple Mimaki brand UV-curable inks, including the LH-100, PR-100 and LUS-150, also boasting variable dot size and placement. The printer is designed for white ink printing, with Mimaki's Circulation Technology claiming to ensure the avoidance of sedimentation.
"The launch of the JFX200-2513 combines the typical print and build quality normally associated with Mimaki with a format to suit the majority of our customer base," suggests Mike Lewis, sales manager at Hybrid Services.
