Esko announces that it will be launching The 'Real'Flexo Experience, a series of free educational summits designed to educate guests the latest in flexo imaging technology.
“Who else is more qualified to explain the technology of flexo plate imaging than Esko?” asks Mark Quinlan, President, Esko Americas. “The vast majority of all flexo plates imaged globally are produced on an Esko CDI. Our experience can offer any company—from tradeshop to converter—a realistic overview of the technology and what can be expected from both a quality and an economic perspective.”
Esko will be transporting a CDI 2420 flexo imager to meeting rooms throughout the US: in Kansas City (Nov. 14), Dallas (Nov 21), Oakland (Dec. 3), and Atlanta (Dec. 11). The summits will conclude with open houses at Esko offices in Ludlow, MA (Dec. 17) and Esko Americas headquarters in Miamisburg, OH (Dec. 19).
Esko will repeat HD Flexo and Full HD Flexo workshops in the morning and afternoon. The CDI flexo imager will be operating throughout the day to show guests how flexo plates are imaged. A team of Esko representatives will also be available to answer any questions. A presentation offering an overview of structural packaging design will be offered at Ludlow, where the team of ArtiosCAD developers resides. A continental breakfast and luncheon will be served.
“From our experience with many, many platemaking facilities throughout the world, we know that HD Flexo technology can improve print quality and, more important, print consistency. In doing so, it can reduce press makeready time and waste,” explains Ian Hole, Esko VP, Market Development. “For those companies who are exploring direct to plate flexo technology, this will be an invaluable session.”
