Durst has débuted its 2.5m Rho 1012 printer with Variodrop technology at SGIA 2013. As a result of Variodrop integration, the machine boasts an improved colour gamut as well as fewer errors in greyscale printing despite at a larger picolitre size than earlier models.
Claiming to be the most productive twelve-picolitre digital ink-jet engine in the market, the Rho 1012 boasts an output speed of up to 490sq m per hour at 1,000dpi. The machine also features left and right registration, enabling parallel printing, and two-point pin registration.
