The Rho 1012 is suitable for printing onto both coated and uncoated substrates, as well as textured surfaces

Durst has débuted its 2.5m Rho 1012 printer with Variodrop technology at SGIA 2013. As a result of Variodrop integration, the machine boasts an improved colour gamut as well as fewer errors in greyscale printing despite at a larger picolitre size than earlier models.

Claiming to be the most productive twelve-picolitre digital ink-jet engine in the market, the Rho 1012 boasts an output speed of up to 490sq m per hour at 1,000dpi. The machine also features left and right registration, enabling parallel printing, and two-point pin registration.
