Details for Informa's Cross Media Production event have been released. Co-located with Ipex 2014 at the Excel in London on March 25th – 27th 2014, Cross Media Production aims to provide a showcase for the technology and systems required to create effective multi-channel, multi-platform campaigns.
"This event is all about looking under the hood of cross-media production technologies to better understand all the elements of design, production, data, procurement and delivery of media content and marketing collateral," comments Andrew Thornhill, marketing manager for Cross Media Production.
"In the world of marketing, the use of increasingly divergent communication channels accessed via multiple platforms and devices causes a number of challenges for today's marketing campaigns.
"This new event will closely examine these deviating streams while also looking at the convergence of the production technologies that support them, showcasing the mechanics of how to execute a successful cross-channel campaign from start to finish," he concludes.
Among the technologies on show will be demonstrations on paper solutions, augmented reality, variable data printing, multi-platform publishing and email marketing. Throughout the three days of the show, over 60 theatre sessions will be held with the stated goal of 'dismantling the silos that divide the different marketing disciplines'.
