The Photo Group of Emerald Expositions announced today that its 30th annual PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo attracted more than 22,000 professional photographers, and photo enthusiasts to learn about the latest digital imaging products and services from 222 exhibitors. In addition, the show maintained its reputation as the "largest photography classroom in America" by providing attendees with numerous learning opportunities with more than 100 seminars, workshops and keynote presentations, as well as live portfolio reviews and the new PhotoPlus Expo Show Floor Theater featuring open education by some of the leading brand names in the photo industry.
Throughout the trade show floor, attendees were entertained and educated with continuous in-booth presentations at Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, WD, and many other exhibitors as world-class imaging pros shared tips, techniques, and overall experiences with small, intimate crowds within exhibitor booths. The result was a perpetual learning experience for all attendees throughout every square foot of PhotoPlus Expo.
"For 30 years PhotoPlus Expo has been the place where photographers have gathered to learn, teach, and explore," explains Lauren Wendle, vice president and publisher, The Photo Group. "We continue to be amazed and inspired by the professional photographers, digital artists, trainers and thought leaders wanting to teach, and the tens of thousands of photographers anxious to learn and the magic that happens when these groups converge at PhotoPlus. We were pleased with our attendance this year, as well as the size and depth of our trade show exhibitors and will continue to look at ways we can enhance the experience attendees have enjoyed, even after 30 years."
For those looking to mark their calendars for next year, PhotoPlus Expo 2014 will be held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from October 30 -- November 1, 2014.
