Supplier M Partners has launched a new division dedicated to wide-format print products. Continuing along the line of recent expansions, the company has secured its first distribution contract with the South Korean printer manufacturer DGI.
DGI's equipment roster hosts the Velojet VE 320 4D printer, a 3.2m wide-format engine using Konica Minolta heads. Able to output up to 120sq m/hr, it is supplied with the Wasatch RIP, can run DGI's odour-free eco-solvents.
"This is a sector that we have been monitoring for some while," comments M Partners's joint managing director Mark Stribley. "Wide-format continues to grow. However, we didn’t want to enter the market with a 'me too' product."
M Partners believes that the 'impressive build quality of DGI equipment gives us several important points of difference', including that 'it is extremely well designed, and built with the best of South Korean know-how and technology, combined with Japanese quality'.
M Partners is now the UK distributor for DGI and is searching for resellers.
