Spandex has launched its RollsRoller Light print finishing and laminating flat-bed device, which the company claims allows an operator to apply up to 80sq m of graphics per hour. The new release is less costly than previous Spandex rollers and can be used with a variety of self-adhesive materials.
The table is available in both 2.8m and 3.4m widths and can be used on both flexible and rigid substrates up to 6cm thick. The device also incorporates a self-healing cutting mat and is delivered flat-packed to allow for easy installation.
"We listened to many of our customers who really wanted to reap the benefits of the existing applicator but could not purchase it for practical reasons," explains Leon Watson, general manager at Spandex. "With the new Rollsroller Light, any sign making business of any size can now consider handling finishing and laminating processes in-house, to improve total job turnaround time and profitability."
The Rollsroller Light is already commercially available and is subject to a special offer of £7,900, including delivery, installation and a compressor, until November 30th 2013.
