Inca adds Onset S50i with scalable architecture to printer portfolio
Nov 25 2013 09:40:57 , 1326

The Onset 560i can print onto substrates up to 3.14m x 1.6m in size, up to 50mm thick

The latest iteration of Inca Digital's Onset platform has been announced, along with the introduction of scalable architecture and a remote monitoring option for enhanced customer support. Configured as a four-colour flat-bed printer, the Onset S50i is designed for high productivity with throughput speeds of up to 725sq m per hour.

Intended to be future-proof, the Onset S50i benefits from Inca's 'new generation' scalable architecture that brings in modularity so that the engine can evolve according to productivity and colour specifications of the end user. The intention is for print companies to optimise their ROI and avoid obsolescence, with options to add and swap colours up to a total of eight, including lights and whites. Inca says this architecture will streamline manufacturing and reduce lead times from order to build by 25 percent.

Inca Digital also launched its Inca Vision customer support service, which monitors and diagnoses possible failures before they happen. By garnering data on a daily basis, engineers can conduct regular remote diagnostics to check performance and behaviour via a dashboard system. Users also can access data through Inca's ReporterPro software, which provides detailed information on jobs and customers in a confidential environment.
