FESPA has increased the size of its management team with the addition of a divisional director and a general secretary. Neil Felton also moves from the role of managing director for exhibitions and events and becomes chief executive officer, taking on the overall direction of the organisation.
Roz McGuinness becomes divisional director with responsibility for FESPA's European and Asian exhibitions, including FESPA Digital and European Sign Expo. An exhibitions management specialist with 17 years of professional experience, McGuinness previously held the position of events director at i2i Events since 2004.
Formerly chief executive of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMPSA), Sean Holt brings years of not-for-profit sector experience to the role. His task as general secretary will be to manage FESPA's relationship with national member associations and direct the Profit for Purpose programme.
"By attracting these highly experienced people to work alongside Neil, we will be able to give equal focus to all areas of our organisation's on-going development," comments Lascelle Barrow, FESPA president. "The FESPA board has absolute confidence that Neil and his enlarged team will continue to deliver all FESPA initiatives with consideration of the rapidly evolving needs of our global community."
