Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) has announced new Head Interface Boards (HIB) for the Kyocera KJ4A and KJ4B print-head range. Available in two versions, one for UV-curable ink print-heads and one for aqueous print-heads, the HIBs provide access to settings, including waveform upload, voltage trimming and temperature control.
"The new higher frequency print-heads from Kyocera are data hungry," notes Nick Geddes, chief executive of GIS. "This is an increasing trend in the market; consequently, these new HIBs will be offered in conjunction with our USB 3.0 Print Manager Board, which increases data throughput up to 2,700Mbps."
