Following the success of the first boot camp held for its new VersaUV LEF-20 desktop flatbed UV printer in November this year, Roland DG has announced two further dates for its Better Business Boot Camps. The two new half-day boot camps are to be held on 10th January from 3pm-6pm and on Thursday 30th January 6pm-9pm.

The VersaUV LEF-20 features a large print bed size (508mm x 330mm) which enables users to print a single item or a short production run without a costly and time-consuming set up. The LEF-20 enables users to personalise a whole raft of giftware, awards, novelty and souvenir items, signage and pretty much any object up to 100mm thick.

Joe Wigzell, Academy and Creative Centre Manager, at Roland DG, comment, “Our first free LEF-20 Better Business Boot Camp in November was a great success and we are excited to now be confirming two new additional boot camps to be held in January 2014.  It was clear from the session in November that our new VersaUV LEF-20 desktop flatbed UV printer has really captured the imagination of the industry and there is already a great deal of buzz around it in the marketplace.”

The new boot camps in January offer anyone interested in Roland’s new VersaUV LEF-20 desktop flatbed UV printer an opportunity to come along and see how they can work with Roland DG to maximise their investment in its technology and create exciting new and profitable revenue streams for their businesses.

Joe Wigzell continues, “Those attending the first LEF-20 camp represented a range of companies from right across the spectrum and all were very impressed with the machine, its quality, performance, speed, bed size and sheer versatility.  Naturally, ROI is one of the key aspects to any investment, so we spent a lot of time going through the ROI figures and many of the participants couldn’t believe how quickly this machine could potentially pay for itself.  To have a machine that can work as hard as you do in a business is a major asset and it was clear those at the boot camp could see the LEF-20 delivers on this front.”

Content for the half-day Boot Camp includes a comprehensive overview of how the VersaUV LEF-20’s technology works, as well as sessions on Roland’s five ‘Better Business Stations’, all designed to help the user exploit the diverse opportunities offered by this machine, improve workflow and productivity and secure a strong return on investment. These sessions are followed by an informal Q&A session to ensure attendees go away with all their questions answered and a tour of Roland’s Creative Centre, so they can see first-hand the wide range of applications and media types this new machine supports

Wigzell concludes, “These boot camps, like the BN-20 Boot Camps before them, have been developed to help both potential and existing Roland users to explore the technology and understand how it can best work for them in a supportive and friendly environment. The LEF-20 is a highly versatile machine, suited to those right across the industry from pad and screen printers, sign shops, gift, novelty and engraving shops to all those looking for new business opportunities or considering expanding their product portfolio to produce a more diverse range of high value, high profit promotional items, novelty goods, giftware, signage, high end graphics, POP and POS, awards, packaging prototypes and many more applications.”

All VersaUV LEF-20 Better Business Boot Camps are held at Roland DG’s HQ in Clevedon, just south of Bristol.
