Genesis Marketing has delivered event branding for the Wales Rally GB Championships thanks to ImagePerfect media from Spandex. As well as providing the visitor area branding, Genesis supplied angled concord barrier panels for crowd control, decorated panelling and directional and venue signage.
Among the ImagePerfect media used as part of the branding and signage was IP2511 white gloss vinyl with grey adhesive to enhance opacity, IP2514 clear gloss vinyl and IP2122 block-out banners, which allow for double-sided printing.
Included in the buildings that were re-branded was the Deeside Toyota building, for which IP Fabric Light, a self-adhesive wall decoration textile, was used. Fabric Light was chosen for its removable adhesive, ensuring that all wall graphics could be easily detached without leftover residue.
"The temporary event branding of the Toyota premises had to be handled with sensitivity to the building's usual occupants," explains Andrew Owen, Genesis managing director. "We needed to be 100 percent certain that the materials and installation methods would not leave any traces.
"We're constantly looking at new materials to make the best choices for the client; Spandex are always at the end of a phone to give us advice for a challenging application."
