Durst Expands Business Manager’s Role
Dec 27 2013 11:32:46 , 921
Industrial inkjet printer manufacturer Durst U.S., Rochester, N.Y., announces that it has expanded the responsibilities of Roy Pagan—the company’s business development manager for industrial imaging solutions—to include Durst’s Tau portfolio of digital label printing platforms, low-migration, in-line laser die cutting equipment and related products, the company has announced.

Pagan joined Durst in 2012 after 17 years at Classic Graphics in Charlotte, N.C., where most recently he was Director of Wide-Format Services.  With Durst he has concentrated on solutions for interior décor and other specialty applications utilizing the company’s industry-leading Rho digital inkjet printers.

“Having worked on the print provider side and helped establish a wide-format printing division from the ground up, Roy offers customers valuable ‘real world’ understanding and insights,” says Christopher Howard, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Durst U.S.

“He’s most interested in introducing direct digital UV inkjet printing into industries that might not yet imagine how they can use it to streamline operations and gain new growth opportunities,” Howard adds.  “Roy has a knack for coming up with workable solutions to some of today’s most challenging, innovative applications.  That extends to label printing, where digital imaging is beginning to have a significant positive impact.  We’re fortunate to have Roy’s knowledge and expertise as part of the Durst team.”
