Manroland Sheetfed GmbH has appointed Kurt Herrmann Managing Director of its Greater China business, effective January 1, 2014. Adam Yuen will step down from the position at the end of this year.

Married with two daughters, German born engineering graduate Herrmann, has been permanently based in the China region with fellow Langley Holdings PLC company Claudius Peters since 1994, becoming Managing Director of that company in 2000.

Speaking recently at a dinner in Offenbach for the management of Manroland Sheetfed's more than 40 subsidiaries from around the world, Rafael Penuela, CEO of Manroland Sheetfed GmbH, welcomed Herrmann to the Manroland Sheetfed group and acknowledged Yuen's contribution to the press builder's considerable success in China.

Manroland China was established in 1972. The Manroland Sheetfed China group is located in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Taiwan, and employs over 200 people.
