Premier Vehicle Wrapping has provided a distinctive colour change wrap for a Rolls Royce Ghost thanks to 3M 1080-series wrapping film supplied by William Smith. Tasked with 'livening up' the car's appearance, the prestige car wrappers chose 1080 Aluminium White for the vehicle's roof, bonnet, boot and windows.

William Smith also printed the required shade of purple onto its Aluminium White film, after the Premier Vehicle Wrapping was unable to find the correct colour elsewhere. The wrap was finished with a gloss overlaminate. The 3M 1080 is a removable dual-cast film designed to be rigid and easy to handle, without the requirement for application tape. Designed to be weather-resistant, it is guaranteed by 3M to last up to six years.

"It was a really good print job," believes Premier Vehicle Wrapping's Daniel Brown. "It worked extremely well. Our client was really impressed as it gave the appearance of a paint finish.

“We always advise our customers to use 3M materials,” he adds. “The 1080 Series is very easy to use and is of really good quality. I can trust it and know that it will stay in place.”
