Seenspire has been selected as a finalist in three categories for Digital Signage Expo's Content Awards. The Belgian start-up, which creates visual-led content in Flash, media RSS and HTML5 for digital screens, will collect its award on February 12th 2014 in Las Vegas, USA.
The start-up will be the only outfit to receive three gongs – yet to be confirmed as gold, silver or bronze – at the awards. Its Eindhoven Airport installation, which features a twelve-screen videowall, was delivered with partner Net Display Systems and is nominated in the transportation category.
Under the retail header, a project for Hummel saw it create a floating, deconstructed shoe for holographic and 3D end-points, while its content feeds for networks have been tipped in the multi-platform category for their departure from traditional formats, such as tickers.
"It's a tribute to our creative team," comments Samuel Mekonen, co-founder of Seenspire. "But also to our visionary clients and business partners." He and partner Richard Buhn will use DSE to look for new partners, too: "I'm planning to meet with a selection of service providers and end-users. We think Seenspire can help drive their business success, with cost-effective creative, but still compelling, content."
