The founders of Graph-Tech AG have launched a new inkjet integration company, Radex AG. Graph-Tech was acquired by Domino Printing Sciences in 2012, after the founding team built it into one of the largest global OEM developers of industrial inkjet solutions. Radex, with its highly experienced team of inkjet specialists will now focus on developing complete solutions for both OEM and end user clients. Having shipped thousands of industrial inkjet systems over the last 10 years, the team will combine their hardware, software and consumables skills to create solutions for applications ranging from packaging to textiles to 3D printing, and everything in between.
“Many printing markets are transitioning rapidly from analog to digital, and the need for reliable industrial inkjet solutions is growing every day,” said Piero Pierantozzi, Managing Director of Radex. “While there are many new companies trying to offer integration services, Radex brings together a team that has unmatched experience in delivering complete solutions for OEM’s and end users. A complete solution is more than just a printer – it’s hardware, software and consumables all working together as a system. The Radex team has been delivering successful solutions to the market place for over twenty years. Working with companies such as Domino Printing Sciences and EFI Jetrion, we don’t only fully understand inkjet, but also how to help our clients specify, install, and support industrial inkjet systems. And one of our main objectives is to implement the delivery of the system incredibly quickly. It is what we stand for: Radex – the Rapid Development Experts.”
Radex has already initiated development of core technologies, such as driver board electronics, ink and transport systems, for a variety of applications. The company works with a range of the latest printhead technologies, allowing clients to achieve reliable performance for their specific application. Relationships with numerous consumable vendors allows Radex to deliver a complete solution – hardware, software and consumables – tailored to the client’s needs. Coupled with its experience in scaling production, installation and service, Radex is uniquely positioned for both OEM clients who may only want design and development help, and end user clients looking for a complete custom solution.
