A broad range of wide-format printers and cutting devices will be demonstrated by Mimaki distributor Hybrid Services at Sign and Digital UK 2014 including, for the first time in this country, its SUV series. 

"Sign and Digital UK is the first domestic exhibition for us to show the new Mimaki SUV, so we're expecting huge amounts of interest," suggests Hybrid's national sales manager, John de la Roche. "It's a printer that really has to be seen to be fully appreciated, so we're looking forward to visitors getting up close with the extraordinary print from the machine."

Joining the SUV will be the UJV500-160, a roll-to-roll UV-curable printer capable of high production volumes. At 1.6 metres wide and with low-energy LED curing, the engine is designed for printing wall coverings, vehicle wraps and display graphics.

Hybrid will also display Mimaki's range of flat-bed UV-curable printers, textile engines and print-and-cut machines.

"Our focus is on assisting print companies in adding new revenue streams and profit centres to their businesses," adds de la Roche. "New technology frequently plays an important part in that process so alongside our reseller network, we’ll be offering expert advice and real-world examples throughout the show."
