Canon will showcase its Océ Arizona 480GT flat-bed as part of an end-to-end industrial workflow at InPrint 2014. The company's live demonstrations will use GFI's automation software, ERPA's packaging software, Eurolaser's laser cutting and finishing systems and Welte's coating and finishing equipment to create a 'real-life' scenario at its stand.
Roberto Zinser, Canon Germany's wide-format channel manager, will also present a talk in the Showcase Theatre, focusing on 'industrial, functional and decorative ink-jet printing'.
"Digital printing increases the design freedom of products meaning that printers, and indeed print buyers, are no longer restricted to the maximum five colours used in screen printing," believes Duncan Smith, group director for wide-format at Canon UK. "Millions of colours are now at their disposal by adopting the capabilities of digital print.
"As well as allowing for almost unlimited print opportunities, digital production can maintain the strict requirements of industrial applications such as meeting high quality standards and controls and remaining durable over the design-life of the product."
Canon and its partners will be present in hall 21, stand F10.
