Fujifilm will showcase the new Inca Onset model and UV-curable inks at FESPA Digital 2014. Also at the show will be models from the flat-bed Acuity range, as well as the Uvistar Pro8.
The Q family Inca Onset will have its automation capabilities demonstrated live for the first time at a trade show. Featuring Fujifilm's scaleable architecture, the machine allows print-heads and ink platforms to be altered without the need to replace the entire printer.
Two inks will be added to the Uvijet portfolio: the high-adhesion OH and the low-odour, corrugated OL, which is designed for packaging applications. The Uvistar Pro8, meanwhile, will be showcased with white ink for the first time, allowing for the creation of illuminated posters.
"We've spent the last year refining and further developing UV-curable ink-jet inks for our leading wide-format systems, as well as introducing a new member of the Onset family, " comments Tudor Morgan, systems marketing manager at Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems. "This combination, together with our leading workflow solutions, can produce exceptional quality print for an endless array of end applications."
