The first talks for FESPA Digital 2014's educational programme, built around sector 'hubs', have been announced, featuring speakers from across the digital print, textile and signage sectors.
The keynote, given by Ron Gilboa, director of functional printing and packaging at Infotrends, will look at how to develop a print business, while also looking at the various trends on show at FESPA Digital. In the digital hub, colour management expert Marco Olivotto will present four workshops, while talks on industrial printing processes and printed electronics will take place.
Talks on the textile sector include two sessions on dye-sublimation by Christopher Bernat, chief revenue officer of Vapor Apparel, as well as a bilingual talk from academic Thomas Poetz on how printers can enter the textile market. In the signage area, Broadsign duo Daniel Parisien and Stephanie Gutnik will host sessions on digital signage and advertising over out-of-home networks.
"As we start to flesh out each stream of our Digital 2014 educational programme, we're confident that the four hubs in Munich will deliver everything that visitors," states Duncan MacOwan, head of new media and events at FESPA. "Each hub will offer a rich blend of content, delivered by internationally respected experts in their individual fields."
