Kiian Group are to launch a new division – Kiian Specialty – at InPrint 2014. The move comes as part of the company's strategy to provide clearer routes to market for customers.
"The launch of Kiian Specialty will meet our objective to better serve our customers and provide them with the best possible products and service," suggests Fabio Festorazzi, chief executive. "Kiian Group has always had specialty inks for both the textile and industrial markets, so to bring our expertise in line with our new, focused direction makes perfect sense."
Festorazzi will take on the role of general manager for the new division in addition to his current duties, while former Flint Ink and Pemco employee Frank Jellenik has been appointed as sales and marketing director.
"I am delighted to join Kiian at such a positive time for the company," says Jellenik. "In 2014, we will launch benchmark-setting inks for textile printing, where the company is already a leading international player. Similarly, on the industrial side we are deploying a number of technological and commercial initiatives that will propel us forward."
