SunJet, the global inkjet division of Sun Chemical and DIC, will present its extensive portfolio of industrial inkjet inks at InPrint 2014.  The event is scheduled to take place at Messe Hannover, Germany, between 8th and 10th April and Sunjet will be on stand E28/Hall 21.

On the stand, SunJet will demonstrate its wealth of expertise and understanding of application needs by showcasing market focussed product technologies including the SunJet Dimoda and Revolution ink ranges.

The SunJet Dimoda range of inkjet inks encompass aqueous, solvent and UV formulations designed for use in décor applications, such as wood and laminate production, as well as edge-bands and foil profiles and the direct printing of wallpaper or architectural glass panels.

The Revolution ink range has been developed to meet the need for high adhesion and resistance, incorporating inkjet inks for direct decoration of 3D objects, such as brake-pads, phone covers, car instruments and home appliances.

The Revolution range also includes inks specifically developed for direct printing of containers for FMCG in high volume manufacturing environments. These meet low migration and list compliance requirements for packaging and still allow the containers to be recycled.

“Inkjet is moving outside of the printing of graphics, increasingly adding a wealth of benefits in a variety of industrial manufacturing scenarios,” comments Phil Jackman, Product Manager, Industrial and Décor, SunJet. “We are confident that our ink solutions enable our OEM partners to achieve growth in these exciting and emerging digital markets.”

Peter Saunders, Global Business Manager SunJet comments, “It’s clear to us that within industry, applications and processes are moving to digital technology. This places a greater emphasis on innovation in ink chemistry, an area where we have proven capabilities, borne out by the fact that SunJet will demonstrate the widest range of inks at the show.”

Peter concludes, “SunJet occupies a unique position in inkjet through its Sun Chemical heritage, capitalising on a wealth of experience in traditional analogue markets. This helps us to develop practical inkjet solutions with our partner OEMs, whatever the applications.”

Sun Chemical’s traditional, analogue and industrial ink solutions will also be on show on the stand.
