Roland DG Corporation, Hamamatsu, Japan, parent company of Roland DGA, Irvine Calif., announces the election of Eli Keersmaekers as a new executive officer, reporting to the firm’s Board of Directors.

Keersmaekers will continue to serve as president of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), reporting to Group HQ, as well as CEO of Roland DG Benelux N.V.  In his new role, Keersmaekers will be responsible for sales of all Roland DG products throughout the EMEA region.

The announcement comes as Roland DG continues to execute its GlobalOne plan designed to strengthen the corporation’s leadership positions in the markets it serves around the world.  Headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan, the company’s extensive product line provides creative professionals with advanced digital technologies, including wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters, engravers, 3D rapid prototyping equipment, dental mills and impact printers.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Eli for several years now,” says Bob Curtis, senior executive director of Roland DG. “I am excited to have him join our GlobalOne team as an executive officer reporting to the Board of Directors as we continue to build on the successful integration of Roland DG worldwide.”

Keersmaekers joined DG Benelux N.V. in 2002 as CFO.  In 2006, he was named CEO and joined the Roland DG Senior Executive Committee.  In 2013, he was appointed president of the EMEA region.  He previously served as chairman of the European Executive Committee and, more recently, as chairman of the International Marketing Committee.
