At FESPA Digital in Munich this May, Onyx Graphics aims to answer visitors' colour management questions as well as demonstrating its latest software, the Onyx v11 suite and its Textile Edition.
Vice-chair of the International Colour Consortium (ICC) and Onyx's chief scientist, Max Derhak, will be on hand to provide visitors with practical advice on calibration, generating a colour profile and maintaining colour management parameters across devices.
At the event the company will also demonstrate Onyx v11, the latest in its line of wide-format workflow and RIP products. This update is built on the X10 RIP and Onyx Thriveworkflow software; it is designed to increase operator productivity and reduce waste as well as to make printing more predictable. It includes new features such as in-built swatch books, custom sewing marks and ChromaBoost, which aims to simplify production and optimise colour quality.
Onyx Textile Edition, developed for the textile market, will make its début at the event. While similar to Onyx v11, it contains additional features such as step-and-repeat and an ink configuration builder that are designed specifically to save time and reduce waste when producing printed fabrics.
