EFI announces first quarter revenue of $189m

has reported a first quarter revenue of $188.7m (￡112.13m), an increase of ten percent compared to last year's first quarter revenue of $171.4m (￡101.85m). The company's recurring revenue was reported to be up 16 percent, thanks to a 25 percent growth in UV-curable
ink volume and software bookings.
"The EFI team kicked off 2014 with another very strong quarter, delivering revenue and profitability above our expectations," states Guy Gecht, chief executive of EFI. "With upcoming product innovations across the portfolio we expect to see solid demand throughout the year."
