The Durst stand at FESPA Digital 2014 will centre around its Rho P10 HS Series. The new machine offers twice the speed of its P10 UV-curable range and is designed for indoor and outdoor signage, POP and POS material, packaging and backlit displays.

The P10 HS Series features Durst’s Quadro Array print-heads with double the number of nozzles than the Rho P10 200 and 250 combined with LED pin curing in to seal ink drops while the print is cured. The series, which launched two years ago, outputs at a resolution of up to 1,000dpi, and is capable of printing more than 400sq m/h.

The engine is capable of printing on both rigid and roll media and is compatible with a range of media such as foamboard, metal, acrylics, and PVC, and roll media such as clear film, backlit material, textiles and vinyls.

Durst’s Variodrop technology is incorporated with the aim of ensure that  solid areas of colour are free from banding during high speed production, while retaining colour brightness.
