Agfa Graphics will present the latest additions to its portfolio of UV-curable, wide-format printers at FESPA Digital, with its new Anapurna i-series and Jeti Titan models taking centre stage.
The 2.05m wide Anapurna M2050 has been redesigned to incorporate its latest high-resolution print-heads, which increase productivity by 50 percent as well as providing optimised dot positioning for improved image quality. The 3.2m wide dedicated roll-to-roll Anapurna M3200i is a mid- to high-end printer which will be shown with dual roll capability to show how it can be used to maximise efficiency.
The Jeti Titan S and HS are flat-bed printers targeted at the high-end segment which aim to combine good print quality with high productivity speeds. The Jeti Titan S and HS will be shown with an additional primer feature, which improves adhesion of output onto thermoplastic substrates. A varnish option to create an appealing cosmetic effect will follow later. Agfa will also present its portfolio of UV-curable inks at the show. These inks are tailored to the specifics of each system to ensure reliable printing of wide-format indoor and outdoor applications.
"At FESPA Digital 2014 Agfa Graphics once again proves it is committed to extend its sign and display portfolio," says Willy Van Dromme, marketing manager for wide-format ink-jet at Agfa.
