Gandy Digital has moved its operations to a new 30,000sq ft (2,787sq m) manufacturing plant in Ontario, Canada as it looks to streamline production and product development.
The new facility is purpose-built, with a fully automated digital product feed system, product design and test laboratories, as well as customer training and demonstration facilities. The laboratory is open to customers allowing them to test and evaluate Gandy Digital printers using their own files and substrates.
The new product feed system means the company can monitor production progress at every stage, with information such as stock inventory available in real-time. The plant is designed withenvironmental concerns in mind and runs a paperless workflow to facilitate internal communications and production information.
"Our new facility is the embodiment of our company vision and mission," states Harry Gandy, chief executive. "With high quality customer service as the focus for everything we do, we have designed our new plant to not only drive production efficiencies and reduce costs, but to also provide an environment where design creativity can be maximised."
