F1 Graphics has ordered a Tekcel VSR 1.5 x 2.5m CNC routing system at Sign and Digital UK 2014 to complement its recent investment in a wide-format flat-bed machine.

The VSR boasts a multi-tool system that can hold up to six separate cutting and routing tools. The device is powered by an HSD eight kilowatt spindle motor and comes with camera registration, which allows it to be used for both print and signage finishing purposes.

"We had researched the CNC router market long and hard but no system came nearer to our requirements than the Tekcel router," explains Darren Ware, managing director at F1 Graphics. "We felt that having a system with proven ball-screw and digital servo motor drive technology was a must. We were very impressed with the set-up at Complete CNC Solutions which in turn, filled us with confidence for on-going support and customer service."
