FESPA Digital 2014 (Messe Munich, 20-23 May 2014) will make history as the biggest FESPA Digital to date. With a record-breaking 536 exhibitors across FESPA Digital, FESPA Fabric and the co-located European Sign Expo, the Munich event is 21 per cent bigger than FESPA Digital 2011 in Hamburg, the previous leading Digital event. FESPA Digital 2014 is the largest focused digital print exhibition worldwide this year.
Pre-registration indicates a strong contingent of printers, garment decorators and sign-makers planning to travel to FESPA Digital, FESPA Fabric and European Sign Expo from all over Europe. The top ten pre-registered visitor groups are from Germany, Italy, the UK, Austria, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Turkey and Slovenia. In total, visual communications professionals from 147 countries have registered to attend.
Visitors travelling to Munich this week will see a great many significant global product launches across all areas of wide format digital print, garment decoration, textile print and non-printed signage. The 2014 event will also welcome 100 companies who have never exhibited at a FESPA event before, choosing FESPA Digital as the optimum stage from which to launch into the European market.
Visitors have open access to three events under one roof:
- FESPA Digital for wide format digital print
- FESPA Fabric for textile and garment print and decoration
- European Sign Expo for non-printed signage including channel lettering, LED and neon
Through this combination, visitors will benefit from more exhibits and content than ever before, including a host of new technology, applications, consumables and services.
FESPA Digital 2014 with FESPA Fabric and European Sign Expo includes a rich schedule of educational seminars in four dedicated Hubs, with content delivered by leading industry players. The Hubs cover four subject areas – Digital, Fabric, Sign and Wrap – and each Hub programme consists of valuable seminar sessions, designed to help printers develop stronger, more profitable businesses.

Throughout the week, the Wrap Hub will draw the crowds with the return of FESPA’s World Wrap Masters. The competition sees 36 installers from across the globe go head-to-head to compete to become the World Wrap Master. This year participants will not only be wrapping cars, but will also be presented with an array of more challenging items to wrap, such as mannequins and bathroom fittings. FESPA Digital 2014 visitors will also have the chance to take part in a head-to-head competition to join in and wrap a car door against the clock.
Visitors looking for inspiration can browse the shortlisted entries for the 2014 FESPA Awards in the Atrium of the Messe Munich, before the winners are announced at the Awards Celebration Dinner on Thursday 22 May at L?wenbr?ukeller. The Awards straddle ten application-led categories, including instore, outdoor and vehicle decoration, and present a great opportunity for printers to see their peers’ best work. Printers still looking to buy tickets for the Celebration Dinner should visit www.fespa.com/digital/features/gala-dinner.
