The FESPA Census has been launched at FESPA Digital 2014 in Munich

FESPA has announced its largest ever survey of the wide-format market  with its Print Census, which will begin at this week's FESPA Digital.

Consisting of 30 questions, the new data gathering project expands on the previous framework of the World-wide Survey. The census will be available online, or at all FESPA trade shows in 2014, including FESPA Eurasia and the inaugrual FESPA Africa.

This data gained from the research project will be analysed by InfoTrends, with a full report to be published at FESPA 2015 in Cologne.

"We aim to significantly expand the base of respondents to give us the truest possible global picture," explains Sean Holt, general secretary at FESPA. "We are targeting a minimum of 2,500 respondents which will allow us to provide statistically robust information on national, regional and global level.

"FESPA’s mission is to guide our community, through education, knowledge-sharing, best practice and networking. Every guide’s most valuable tool is an up-to-date map of their territory, and that’s what the Print Census is designed to do."
