EFI has hired Gabriel Matsliach as senior vice-president and general manager of the company's productivity software business unit. Matsliach moves across from telecommunications software provider Comverse, where he held the role of chief product officer.

Matsliach will be expected to continue the strong growth of the productivity software portfolio, which has seen a revenue increase of 103 percent since 2011.

"We are very excited to have Gabriel join the EFI team," says Marc Olin, chief operating officer at EFI. "His significant experience in software promises to bring some great new ideas to our team and help continue the rapid growth of the productivity software business unit."
