At this year's FESPA Digital, swissQprint launched the 'largest, most productive and most efficient' product in the company's range, the Nyala 2.
The printing table of this new machine is 25% larger than its predecessor at 3.2m x 2 while maintain the same overall size. The printer can also be transported in one piece allowing for shorter start-up time.
The Nyala 2 incorporates the latest print-head technology, giving it a maximum output rate of 206 sq/m per hour, while still maintaining quality.
Half a dozen swissQprint customers have snapped up the Nyala 2 and will be taking delivery later on in the year. It may be a large initial cost, but in the long term, the cost of printing per square metre is low, evening out the investment.
The newly launched machine model is already available for demonstrations at the swissQprint plant in Switzerland, and soon also at half of the resellers' in 23 countries.
