Wasatch has announced a new version of its SoftRIP product, v7.1, which incorporates a number of upgrades focused on the soft signage sector.

Spot colour matching has been improved for dye-sublimation printers with the Color Neighbourhood Analyzer, while new masking and image rendering features have been included for direct-to-garment workflows, with additional support for the Epson SureColor SC-F2000. Those wishing to build their own workflow can now benefit from XML access, while Tamil, Greek and Bulgarian language support has also been added.
