Roland DG has revealed how much of the example material printed on its stand at Sign and Digital UK was actually produced for two charities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities and Children's Hospice South West received banners and other marketing material that had been printed on a range of machinery at the show, including 'The Beast', or the Roland SolJet Pro 4 XF-640. The latter charity has been a regular beneficiary from collections at Roland DG for some years, while the former was selected after team member Mark Elvidge's 'positive experience' when his daughter fell ill.
"Charities use banners to help raise awareness of what they do when they attend events and run open days," states Elvidge, print product manager for Roland. "As such, we were delighted to be able help these two charities raise their profile by using our machines at the show to output a range of stunning, high-quality marketing collateral for these two wonderful charities."
"So much print is disposed of at the end of an exhibition, so it's great to know that what we produced on the stand will be making a genuine and positive contribution to these charities in the months to come," comments Jerry Davies, managing director of Roland DG.
