Tripleplay has explained how it helped Derby County FC step up its digital signage and IPTV delivery, with the flexibility to expand employee and visitor communications in the future.
While the football club, currently in the Championship, runs an in-house television studio, its technical consultant Martin Coleman explains that it previously counted on a 'very poor quality' RF network, which Tripleplay has now upgraded. The installation can now show full-HD signage, promotional, video and commercial television content throughout its estate, which includes lounges, lobbies and hospitality suites.
"We're actually generating more revenue because our corporate boxes, lounges and reception areas are broadcasting our products and services in crisp HD; they are far more attractive to a potential sponsor," comments Coleman.
"Tripleplay's management system has also allowed us to aggregate control to all corners of the club, allowing appropriate rights for each user to update adverts and content, ensuring the signage screens are always up to date and relevant."
