Sign-maker and vehicle graphics provider Stewart Signs become the first UK company to make the investment in an EFI VUTEk 3.2m GS3250LXr Pro. The GS3250LXr Pro, a roll-fed six-colour machine with EFI's LED-curing and greyscale systems, was chosen for its adherence to 3M's MCS warranty.
"The SuperFlex UV-curable ink guarantees the flexibility and durability we must offer our customers," says Tom Bates, production manager at Stewart Signs. "This performance is essential when producing vehicle and fleet graphics, where adhesion and elasticity of the inks are vital to the success of the end application."

"The combination of the versatility of the ink, the power savings and the overall low cost of ownership has made the GS3250LXr Pro the ideal machine for Stewart Signs in its transition from solvent-based production to more environmentally friendly printing," adds Simon Casajuana, territory manager for the south of the UK at EFI. "Vital to the company was the combination of productivity, quality and consistency, plus proven reliability and performance, and this printer ticks all the boxes."
The 3250LXr Pro can handle flexible media up to 3.2mm thick and offers multiple roll capacity for rolls up to 1.52m. More than 250 installations of the machine have been made world-wide so far.
