Signs Express gives Sheffield a sunny disposition for Tour de France Grand Départ
Signs Express's Sheffield branch has helped to put Yorkshire on the Tour de France map by branding the 1,800 windows of the University of Sheffield's Arts Tower in the colour of the famous maillot jaune (yellow jersey)。
The work had to be completed without disruption to the lectures and examinations going on in the building, which meant that the Signs Express team had only a single night to complete the set-up.
As this was the largest project ever undertaken by the Sheffield branch, it enlisted the help of two members of the franchise's Norwich headquarters and four staff from The Cafeteria design agency to complete the project within the time constraints.
"As a local business, we really enjoy the fact that we are able to have such an active involvement in the local community, and this project was no exception," explains Steve Morris, managing director of Signs Express Sheffield. "The Tower looked fantastic and we had a great time working together manufacturing and installing all the graphics."
