The third edition of Egyptian graphic designers 3 day seminar will be held in month of August in cities of Alexandria and Cairo. A group of university professors, top graphic designers, printers as well as advertising agencies are participating at the event. The seminar will focus on three key subjects including imagination in design and realities of print, art of design and realities of applications and from teaching to implementing design.
The seminar is co organized by Helwan University’s college of applied arts and supported by international companies and trade journals including ME Printer.
In an interview with Arabic editor of ME Printer Ahmed Hani the organiser of the event said: “this is the third edition of the seminar and we anticipate that more than 300 people attend the event. The first edition was held in 2012 and more than 100 people took part in the event and in 2013 the number of attendees rose to 200.”
He also added that this year Dr. Jorge Nubar Simonian lecturer of print media and vice dean of post graduate studies and research at Helwan University is the guest speaker at the event.
The seminar will be held between 8 and 9 August in Cairo University Convention Centre and in August 16 in college of fine arts in University of Alexandria.
On occasion of the seminars Petra Training Centre and Taha World are offering free training courses and classes to winners of a draw.
