Ben and Jerry's reduces in-store advertising collateral with Task platform

Task Retail Technology has helped Ben and Jerry's to highlight its enlarged product range in its Australian outlets by installing its xchangemedia platform across its stores nationally.


"We offer a wide variety of products in addition to our cups and cones; in fact, we sell over one hundred menu items," explains Adrian Di Tonto, national retail operations manager for Ben and Jerry's Australia. "When customers come into the store they look at two things, the menuboards and the ice-creams. We knew we had to build visibility and awareness of our more premium products without overwhelming customers with in-store posters and crowded menus."As well as offering day-parted content to take advantage of changing demographics in-store, the xchangemedia online content management software allows for remote control of messaging, allowing outlet-tailored promotions to be altered from the Ben and Jerry's head office and implemented in real-time.
