Envision Solar has revealed a new DOOH system for its EV ARC charging station at a Fiat dealership in San Diego. The solar-powered charging port for electronic vehicles has been fitted with a digital display for advertising purposes.

The  digital screen on the EV ARC Digi will run on the station's wireless network connection, and will display sales and advertisement content from interested parties. The display screen will also be powered by the unit, which generates around 16KwH per day.

"The integrated digital screen not only allows us to communicate more efficiently with our customers but also to recuperate the costs of having the EV ARC on the lot," adds Javier Sorino, president of Kearny Mesa Fiat.
