Shelves can be attached to the display using magnetsUnibox has installed its Ledge 105 light-box display at Tom Dixon's Portobello Dock store, the first installation of the magnetic display system since it was unveiled at VM and Display Showearlier this year.
The display system uses LED-backlit light-boxes with magnetic, laser-cut shelving tailored to demonstrate the Tom Dixon brand.
"We're always impressed by the flexibility of the systems that manifest from the Unibox team," comments Nikki Talbot, exhibition design manager at Tom Dixon.
"British heritage and local manufacturing remains at the heart of our business and it's a genuine pleasure to work with a fellow British manufacturer with such bountiful capabilities.
"The Ledge 105 installed at the Portobello Dock store is much larger than our original prototypes at the VM Show, and the shelves are wider, challenging the strength of the magnets and highlighting the flexibility of the product," adds Nick Wraith, managing director at Unibox. "It's been a fantastic first install and has helped us explore the versatility that Ledge 105 can offer."
