A just-published e-book by author Justin Ryan is aimed at helping traditional sign businesses tap into the rapidly expanding electronic digital signage market. Digital Signage Power is designed with the traditional sign business owner specifically in mind.
Ryan, together with industry leaders and visionaries, produced a book that makes it easier for traditional sign businesses to become a part of the digital signage industry, which is expected to expand to a $15 billion dollar global market by 2020. Unlike other books on digital signage, Digital Signage Power is a one-stop learning resource that quickly educates its readers on the hardware, software, and the business benefits of the technology.
“My book addresses this issue so that the sign industry can quickly gain knowledge of and experience with digital signage,” says Ryan, who became aware of the digital signage knowledge gap when he designed a digital signage infrastructure for a global retail banking system in 2008. It was apparent to him then that there was a significant challenge with learning the technology that was keeping traditional sign businesses out of the industry. “It is almost as if the entire signage industry has been kept out of the digital signage revolution,” Ryan adds. “The whole purpose for writing the book was to change the way digital signage was seen by a very mature and capable sign industry.”
