Trade-only supplier PsCo has secured what it believes to be the first rental installation in the UK of a 1.9mm pixel pitch LED screen. Joy's Production Services utilised a 2.8 x 1.5m high-resolution seven-by-five tiled display for the first time at a recent event, showing a continuous loop of animated presentations powered by Joy's graphics software.

PsCo provided technicians to work with Joy's production team at the event, helping to determine the suitability of an LED screen for the project and providing on-hand assistance to set up, test and de-rig the display at the event itself.

"We'd never considered LED in the past, simply because we hadn't been able to access such a small pixel pitch in the UK," says Peter Joy, managing director of Joy's.
