JCDecaux has expanded into Newcastle with a full range of retail and transport advertising sites, including digital six-sheets, Transvision and M-Vision displays.
A large-format M-Vision screen has been installed in Intu Eldon square, which sees an average of 700,000 visitors each week. Another M-Vision display is to be added to JCDecaux's Newcastle portfolio later in the year with an installation in the Intu Metrocentre, where it will complement the existing six-sheet proposition.
The rest of JCDecaux's Newcastle display network will be positioned in Newcastle Central Station, which sees traffic of 310,000 per annum. As well as becoming the 18th station to incorporate an LED Transvision screen, the rail terminus will host several six-sheets placed strategically throughout the building.
"The new screens in Newcastle will strengthen our national digital portfolio, providing even more flexible and powerful opportunities for our clients," claims Spencer Berwin, managing director for sales at JCDecaux. "As part of JCDecaux's continued investment in digital across the UK, Newcastle follows the recent launch of digital screens in Brighton, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Southampton."
